Kenny Chesney is turning his Gillette Stadium tour finale into a two-night affair. The country superstar has added a second Foxborough concert for Friday, Aug. 27, 2027, one night before his previously announced Aug. 28 show, giving fans back-to-back dates to close out his Original Vibe Room Tour.
Demand Drives a Rare Doubleheader
The new date came together after what Chesney's team described as a “charged and frenetic” response from fans, according to country.iheart.com. Chesney's own website confirms the addition, noting that he will play a second show at the home of the New England Patriots on Friday, Aug. 27, according to kennychesney.com. As reported by MassLive, Chesney added the second show due to popular demand.
The pair of Foxborough concerts will mark Chesney's 25th and 26th shows at Gillette Stadium, a venue record, per Pollstar. The venue's own event listing already includes the Original Vibe Room Tour among its upcoming concerts and special events, according to Gillette Stadium. Gillette Stadium's official account on X also announced the addition, writing that the second date was added “due to demand,” and that the Aug. 27 show would feature Eric Church, Sheryl Crow and Greylan James.
Who's Joining Chesney Onstage
Eric Church, Sheryl Crow and Greylan James are set to join Chesney for the tour, per Pollstar's reporting. The run is also expected to include a special appearance by Old Dominion, the same iHeart report notes. Back-to-back closing nights at Gillette Stadium have become something of a tradition for Chesney, who has ended previous tours with two-show stands at the venue, according to ktom.iheart.com.
Chesney indicated the Foxborough addition might not be the only one. He said the tour team is “actually looking at doubles maybe in a few other places, too,” per the iHeart report — suggesting more markets could see similar second dates announced as the 2027 run takes shape.
Tour Dates and Ticket Timeline
The Original Vibe Room Tour is scheduled to kick off April 24, 2027, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, according to Pollstar, and wrap with the Gillette Stadium doubleheader in Foxborough. Per MassLive, the tour also includes stadium stops in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago and Nashville among other cities on its schedule.
Tickets for the newly added Aug. 27 Gillette Stadium show, along with the rest of the tour, are scheduled to go on sale Sept. 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time, according to the same iHeart account. Fans can register now for early access at KennyChesney.com, with presale registrations powered by Seated, per Chesney's website. That site also notes the Vibe Room Presale was set to begin Thursday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m. local time, ahead of the general on-sale. Tickets for the tour are also expected to be available through Ticketmaster, with a general sale listed for the same Sept. 25 date and time, per Ticketmaster's own listing.
