A live orchestra will perform the film's score while the film plays on a cinema screen at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas for one night only on December 17, according to FOX5 Vegas. Tickets for the 8 p.m. showtime go on sale to the public September 18 at 10 a.m. Pacific through Ticketmaster.com.
The Las Vegas stop is one piece of a much bigger production. As reported by Pollstar News, the show is part of a nationwide U.S. holiday tour visiting more than 30 cities during the 2026 season, kicking off in mid-November with stops in Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles. Per Ticketmaster, the Wynn date comes three days after a December 14 show at Omaha's Orpheum Theater and one day ahead of a December 18 performance at Los Angeles's Peacock Theater.
Who's Behind the Traveling Cinema-Concert
The tour is presented by Netherlands-based live entertainment producer GEA Live, agency RoadCo Entertainment, and media production company Fifth Season, Pollstar News reports. GEA Live specializes in live film-with-orchestra experiences and has worked with Avatar: The Last Airbender, according to the same outlet.
At Encore Theater, the film itself will be projected on a cinema screen while the orchestra performs live, per FOX5 Vegas. The score comes from composer Craig Armstrong, whose music will include selections such as Mariah Carey's “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and “Love Is All Around,” both featured in the original 2003 film.
A Composer With Serious Pedigree
FOX5 Vegas reports that Armstrong has won a Golden Globe, BAFTA and Emmy, and is known for his work on Moulin Rouge!, Me Before You and Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Separately, the Royal Academy of Music notes Armstrong studied there and has also scored The Great Gatsby, while a Grammy Award for his score to Ray came in 2004, following an earlier Golden Globe and BAFTA for Moulin Rouge!.
Armstrong revisited the Love Actually music in November 2023, releasing Love Actually – The Love Themes For Orchestra, an album featuring 15 expanded full-length orchestral arrangements of his original film cues recorded with the Budapest Art Orchestra, according to The Herald. The release let Armstrong compose fuller versions of cues that had been trimmed down for the theatrical film, the outlet notes.

Despite its relatively small size, Encore Theater has featured major headliners including Lionel Richie, Diana Ross, Garth Brooks, Beyoncé and Sebastian Maniscalco, according to Las Vegas Weekly, which notes the room's proximity to the stage and intimate setting.
