A man is facing multiple criminal charges after investigators say he crossed the center line on U.S. 22 in a pickup truck and slammed into another vehicle, killing its driver. Kyhle White, 35, was charged with OVI, aggravated vehicular homicide and driving with a suspended license following the crash, which happened in Hamilton Township, Ohio.
According to WKRC, the crash occurred May 18, 2026, on U.S. 22 near Stubbs Mills Road in Warren County. Investigators told the station that White was driving a GMC Sierra pulling a landscaping trailer when the truck crossed the center line and collided with a Nissan Rogue near that intersection.
Per the same account, White was allegedly under the influence when he caused the crash. The Nissan Rogue was being driven by Scott Ricketts, who was flown to UC Medical Center according to police and later died from his injuries.
Three Others Hurt in the GMC
Emergency crews who responded to the scene found three injured people inside the GMC Sierra. White, the driver, was also flown to UC Medical Center for treatment.
White now faces a suspended-license charge in addition to OVI and aggravated vehicular homicide. The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles describes an administrative license suspension as an immediate suspension after a failed or refused sobriety test, according to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The agency's published guidance does not specify further details tied to White's individual case.
