A man is dead and three other people are fighting for their lives after a two-car crash tore through the intersection of Chambers Road and Jacobi Avenue in North St. Louis County early Sunday morning. St. Louis County Police responded to the scene at 2:25 a.m., where the driver of one car was pronounced dead. The driver and two passengers of the second vehicle were rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver who died at the scene was behind the wheel of the first car involved in the collision, according to a report from First Alert 4. A Corridor With a Grim History
The wreck adds to a troubling pattern along Chambers Road, one of North St. Louis County's most dangerous arterial streets.
