According to WSB-TV, Channel 2 Action News crews saw several police units blocking off part of the parking lot as officers investigated. Investigators had not identified what led up to the shooting or named any possible suspects as of the station's report, and no update on the severity of the man's injuries had been released.
The man's private trip to the hospital before police arrived is not unusual on its own.
