The tournament, branded the Big 12 Soccer Tournament presented by Allstate, will bring its quarterfinals, semifinals and championship to Mansfield in November. Allstate is the event's presenting sponsor. The move marks the first neutral-site staging in the Dallas-Fort Worth area; the 2025 Big 12 Women's Soccer Tournament was held at TCU's Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium in Fort Worth, according to Dallas News.
A Stadium With International Pedigree
Texas Health Mansfield Stadium opened in July 2026 and is managed and operated by REV Entertainment, an event management company. The stadium's soccer credentials run deeper than its brand-new construction suggests. Before hosting the Big 12 tournament, the venue served as an official team base camp training facility for Team Czechia during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as reported by Texas Health Mansfield Stadium, giving it recent experience accommodating an elite international program.
The facility also functions as the home stadium for North Texas SC, the primary tenant of Texas Health Mansfield Stadium, which competes in MLS NEXT Pro, a professional league, and is the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of FC Dallas, as noted by REV Entertainment, giving the stadium a year-round professional soccer tenant even outside of college tournament season.
Part of Mansfield's Larger Development Plan
The stadium is city-owned and operated by REV Entertainment and FCD Management, the facility and soccer-complex management affiliate of FC Dallas and a subsidiary of Hunt Sports, LLC, according to the City of Mansfield. The city describes the venue as part of the planned $2.5 billion Staybolt Street Entertainment District, which is to include hotels, a convention center, family entertainment, retail, a boardwalk park and housing. City information places the district along Texas 360 near Heritage Parkway, just south of Mansfield Sports Park and Hawaiian Falls. The same information says public infrastructure for the district is funded through Mansfield Economic Development Corporation sales-tax revenue, debt bonds and Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone financing, according to the City of Mansfield.

Sixteen Teams, Eight Spots, One Tense November
The stakes heading into the tournament are steep. Under the conference's 2026 tournament rules, only the top eight teams in the final regular-season standings advance to the postseason, eliminating exactly half of the league's programs once regular-season play concludes on November 5, 2026.
The quarterfinals will be played Nov. 9, with matches scheduled at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The semifinals are set for Nov. 11 at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., followed by the championship match Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. The quarterfinal pairings are No. 4 vs. No. 5, No. 1 vs. No. 8, No. 2 vs. No. 7 and No. 3 vs. No. 6; semifinal matchups will be determined by those results, per Dallas News.
A Broader Shift Toward Neutral Venues
The multi-year agreement brings the tournament to a neutral venue in Mansfield rather than a university-owned campus stadium. For the participating programs, the single-elimination format in Mansfield sets up a high-stakes week.
