A child was rushed to the hospital after a tractor-trailer allegedly made an illegal turn and slammed into another car in Marlborough, Massachusetts, and the driver behind the wheel had no commercial license — or any driver's license at all. Days later, federal agents showed up and took him into custody.
Maximo Garcia-Lopez, a Guatemalan national, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Sept. 18 following the crash, according to KFOX. ICE said Garcia-Lopez had no commercial driver's license or personal license to operate any vehicle.
The crash was not the first red flag involving Garcia-Lopez. ICE said he was cited on Sept. 4 for allegedly operating an 18-wheeler without a license in Connecticut, while driving for YMY Transport LLC, per the same report.

The arrest is the latest in a string of ICE Boston arrests tied to Massachusetts crashes and criminal cases, following the agency's July arrest of a 23-year-old Guatemalan national in a Billerica rape case and an August arrest connected to a Norwood crash and foot chase involving a Brazil murder suspect.
