Showers and thunderstorms become more likely Wednesday night, especially after 10 p.m., with a 40% chance of rain and a low around 73. The forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and light winds, with rainfall generally under a tenth of an inch.
Thursday stays warm near 84 degrees, but storm chances linger through much of the day. Thursday night brings the biggest near-term jump in rain potential, with a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms and possible rainfall totals between a quarter-inch and half-inch.
Wetter Pattern Takes Shape Into Saturday
Friday looks stormy, with showers and thunderstorms likely before 1 p.m., a high near 83 and possible rainfall between three-quarters of an inch and 1 inch. Saturday morning storms are also likely before conditions gradually turn partly sunny, with a high near 80.
The latest outlook is a wetter update than the earlier Hoodline forecast, which had temperatures easing sooner and storm chances looking more scattered. No watches, warnings or advisories are in effect for Milwaukee County, but outdoor plans may need a backup option from late Wednesday through Saturday.
