A brand-new McDonald's in Henderson's Inspirada neighborhood is throwing a grand opening party Saturday, and the prize on offer is hard to beat: a choice of a free Big Mac or a free Happy Meal each week for an entire year. The celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the restaurant on Via Inspirada, with giveaways, raffles and family-friendly entertainment planned; 100 guests will have a chance to win the prize.

The event caps off weeks of quiet operation for the location, which according to FOX5 Vegas actually opened its doors on August 13 before Saturday's public party. The restaurant sits at 2455 Via Inspirada, Suite 110, and employs about 80 people. Before the public celebration, the store held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 9.

The new restaurant occupies a commercial property with a drive-thru on a commercial parcel at Via Inspirada and Bicentennial Parkway, per a LoopNet property listing. The site was built this year under a 20-year absolute NNN ground lease.

Local Franchise Group Behind the New Location

The Inspirada store is the latest addition for Team Vance Management, which is hosting the grand opening party. The franchise group now operates eight McDonald's restaurants across Southern Nevada and employs more than 500 people region-wide, per the same FOX5 Vegas report. Franchisee James Vance bought his first McDonald's franchise in Colorado in 1995 and has run Nevada locations for 20 years, according to Nevada Business Magazine.

Team Vance Management also donated $17,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas as part of the opening. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas is also included in a Nevada Volunteers listing.

Nevada's Wage Rules for the New Hires

The roughly 80 new employees at the Inspirada location fall under Nevada's distinct labor rules. Employers must follow state wage rules for non-exempt hourly workers. Those rules have changed over time.

A Corridor Transformed by New Development

The new McDonald's lands on a stretch of Via Inspirada that has seen rapid buildout in recent years. Just down the road, Haas Automation is constructing a $400 million, 2.4-million-square-foot manufacturing plant at 2055 Via Inspirada, a project expected to grow from 500 initial jobs to 1,400 employees, according to a Facebook post covering the relocation from California.

Retail growth is following close behind. Centurion at Inspirada, a $60 million, 24-acre mixed-use development at Via Centro and Via Inspirada, broke ground in February with plans for 78,756 square feet of retail space and 600 apartments, as previously reported. Its first retail phase is expected to open by late 2026.

The neighborhood's residential side finished taking shape last November, when the City of Henderson opened Sentiero Park, the final park addition to Inspirada's recreational system. The corridor's growth has continued to reshape the area.
