
A new ice cream shop was set to open on Darbee Lane in Liberty, New York, over Labor Day weekend with a menu built around Hershey's hard ice cream, soft-serve vanilla and chocolate, and dairy-free options starting with raspberry sorbet. B&B Ice Cream was scheduled to hold its grand opening celebration on Saturday, September 5, running from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The shop sits at 10 Darbee Lane, according to 94.3 Lite FM. For its planned opening celebration, the shop was to offer free sprinkles on ice cream for children under 12 and free bones for pets, part of what the business described as an effort to let customers “enjoy delicious ice cream, sweet treats, and plenty of good vibes.”
The Diner's New York City Story
The New Munson Diner, at 12 Lake Street in Liberty, is described by 94.3 Lite FM as New York City's historic diner. The diner opened in the mid-1940s before facing a threat of demolition and being relocated to the Catskills, per 94.3 Lite FM.
