A workout chain known for pairing treadmill sprints with strength training under thumping music and dim red lighting is set to make its Nevada debut. Barry's, the nightclub-inspired fitness studio previously known as Barry's Bootcamp, will open its first location in the state at UnCommons, the mixed-use development in southwest Las Vegas, in early 2027.
The 3,653-square-foot studio will sit next to Todo Bien, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Barry's classes are built around alternating treadmill cardio and strength-training floor work, with each day's programming targeting either glutes and abs, upper body, lower body or a full-body session. The workouts happen inside the brand's signature dimly lit red room, outfitted with antimicrobial rubberized flooring, weights, bands, benches and Woodway treadmills.
Members will also get access to full men's and women's locker rooms stocked with Dyson hair dryers and products from hair and bodycare brand Ouai, the newspaper reports. Barry's was founded in West Hollywood and has since expanded to more than 100 studios in 19 countries worldwide, per the same outlet's reporting.
A Growing Wellness Hub in Southwest Las Vegas
The Barry's opening adds to what UnCommons describes as its growing collection of wellness, fitness and lifestyle offerings, the Review-Journal notes. The development already houses Southern Nevada's second Solidcore location, along with Sunlife Organics and Urth Caffé. UnCommons is also adding a second location of The Good Place, a Pilates and free-weight studio that first opened in Henderson in 2022, as KTNV reports.
The new Good Place studio will span nearly 2,200 square feet and feature Align Pilates UK reformers alongside free-weight classes designed for all skill levels, according to the station. Single classes will start at $40, with memberships beginning at $165, KTNV reports. The station also notes that UnCommons is adding four businesses to its southwest Las Vegas campus altogether.
Part of a Bigger National Push
The Las Vegas studio arrives as Barry's continues an aggressive expansion push nationwide. The chain's CEO said the company plans to open 15 to 20 studios per year in the United States over the next few years, according to Athletech News, with additional studios planned in Midtown Atlanta, Walnut Creek, California, Long Island City and Athens, Greece.
Athletech News reported that Barry's officially hit 100 studios across 19 countries with the opening of its Wall Street location, a 6,888-square-foot space offering the brand's Run x Lift and Lift class formats alongside upgraded locker rooms with Dyson hairdryers and Ouai products — amenities that mirror what's planned for the UnCommons studio. Barry's own website, meanwhile, describes the brand as operating more than 100 studios across more than 30 countries, a figure that doesn't line up with the 19-country count cited elsewhere.
Barry's is also pushing into new markets closer to Nevada's neighbors. In Texas, the chain plans to open a studio in Southlake's Park Village shopping center at 1081 E. Southlake Blvd., Suite 170, next month, according to Community Impact. No exact opening date beyond early 2027 has been specified for the UnCommons location.
