Noodles & Company is planning a restaurant at 3497 Northrise Drive in Las Cruces, bringing the fast-casual pasta and noodle chain to the city.
Plans for the Las Cruces restaurant trace back to August 2021, when Noodles & Company signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with Tsunami Enterprises LLC, led by Carlos Hill, to open four restaurants across the El Paso and Las Cruces market, according to a Noodles & Company announcement. Those initial plans projected the area's first location would open by fall 2022. The Las Cruces Bulletin reported that the city was in line to land a Noodles & Company franchise by 2023.

A Leaner Chain Expands Into New Markets
The Las Cruces debut lands at an unusual moment for Noodles & Company. Founded in Denver in 1995 and now headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, the company is restructuring its national portfolio. The chain shuttered 42 locations in 2025 and slated up to 35 company-owned and five franchised underperforming units for closure in 2026 as part of an aggressive portfolio review.
That trimming has coincided with a financial turnaround. TheStreet reports that closing underperforming stores transfers approximately one-third of sales to remaining nearby locations, a dynamic driven by a high mix of digital delivery and takeout orders. Nation's Restaurant News reported that the strategy helped push a 10.3% increase in system-wide same-store sales in the second quarter of 2026.
Noodles & Company Menu Refresh
To counter guest value concerns and drive traffic, Noodles & Company rolled out $9.95 “Delicious Duos” combo meals in late 2025 as part of a menu refresh.
Hoodline previously reported that a Richmond Heights, Missouri location closed after nearly a decade on Hanley Road. Noodles & Company has plans for a location in Las Cruces.
