The raid was led by Texas DPS and brought together the Houston Police Department, Harris County Precinct 3, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, according to a DPS Southeast Region post cited by the Houston Chronicle. Onscene television video captured the aftermath: a one-story commercial building near the Hardy Toll Road with its windows broken out and blinds torn down. Investigators seized drugs and removed weapons from the streets, the Chronicle reported, though the agency has not detailed exact quantities.
DPS Lieutenant Erik Burse said the agency is not releasing additional information at this time, leaving open questions about how many people were arrested, their identities, and what specific charges they may face. It also remains unclear whether prosecution will proceed through Harris County courts or federal channels in the Southern District of Texas.
