Oakland's Kehlani is bringing her world tour home for two nights at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, with shows scheduled for Oct. 3 and 4. The stop concludes the North American leg before the tour continues in Europe and supports her self-titled fifth studio album, coming months after the singer postponed concerts due to a hospitalization.
Kehlani, the Oakland R&B, hip-hop and pop star, postponed two concerts after being hospitalized, according to a report from the San Francisco Chronicle. The concerts were originally scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, and Thursday, Aug. 27, at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. She rescheduled those shows for Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 at the same venues. Her tour resumed Aug. 29 at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond, Virginia, putting her back on track for the Bay Area finale, as reported by the East Bay Times.
The Shoreline dates and times are listed in an event listing from SF Station. The venue sits at 1 Amphitheatre Parkway in Mountain View, and the same listing describes Kehlani as an Oakland artist.
From Poplyfe to Chart-Topping Solo Star
Kehlani first gained wider attention as a member of the teen pop group Poplyfe, which she joined in 2011 and which appeared on America's Got Talent, according to the East Bay Times. She has since built one of the Bay Area's most prominent solo music careers, culminating this year in her self-titled fifth album.
That album, released April 24 through Tsunami Mob/Atlantic Records, runs 17 tracks and became Kehlani's first No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, opening with 69,000 equivalent album units in the United States, according to Billboard. Streaming drove much of that debut, contributing 45,000 of the total units from 45.37 million official on-demand streams. The release also extended Kehlani's streak to seven consecutive top-10 releases on that chart.
Folded Becomes a Career-Defining Hit
The album's lead single, “Folded,” became Kehlani's first Billboard Hot 100 top-10 hit, peaking at No. 6, and her first No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, where it spent five weeks at the top, per Billboard. The outlet notes “Folded” launched Kehlani's new album era back in June 2025. The East Bay Times adds that “Folded” won Kehlani two Grammy Awards this year, for Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance.
The album also features “Out The Window” and “Back and Forth,” the latter with Missy Elliott, alongside guest appearances from Brandy, Usher, Leon Thomas, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Lil Jon, Clipse, Big Sean and Cardi B, according to the same RatedRnB report. The star-studded credits are part of the album's guest lineup.
Tickets and Showtime
The Mountain View concert is scheduled to have a 6:30 p.m. showtime, with tickets available through Ticketmaster starting at $24.75, according to the East Bay Times. The show marks a homecoming stop for Kehlani, whose tour in support of her self-titled fifth studio album has taken her across North America over the past several months, as noted by the San Francisco Chronicle in its earlier report on the tour's schedule shifts.
