A 48-year-old Oklahoma City woman is behind bars after a grand jury indictment accuses her of commercially sex trafficking, sexually exploiting and neglecting two juveniles in her care over a span of nearly four years. Agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Human Trafficking Unit arrested Lorrie Lynn Kennedy, and she is now held in the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
According to KFOR, OBN agents arrested Kennedy in Oklahoma City on September 17. The investigation that led to her arrest began in April, after the Purcell Police Department contacted OBN's Trafficking Unit to report a possible trafficking incident involving a minor, the station reports.
A separate arrest-record listing on RecentlyBooked.com shows that Kennedy was booked in Oklahoma County on June 17, 2026, with grand larceny listed as the reported charge. KFOR reported that she was arrested on September 17. That listing, which the site notes reflects public information from local law enforcement, states plainly that it does not imply guilt or conviction.
Allegations Span Nearly Four Years
Investigators allege that between January 2019 and December 2022, Kennedy commercially sex trafficked, sexually exploited and neglected two juveniles, per the same account from the station. The Oklahoma Multi-County Grand Jury returned its indictment on September 16, after prosecutors from Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond's Office presented the case that day, the report notes.
The grand jury charged Kennedy with two counts of commercial sex trafficking of a minor, two counts of child exploitation and one count of child neglect. Per KOKH, the trafficking counts allege that Kennedy trafficked one minor for commercial sex between the ages of four and nine and a second minor between the ages of 10 and 12.
