Final-week promotion
The cafe is offering merchandise tied to the Las Vegas location during its final weeks. Customers who spend at least $100 can receive a Straw Hat Crew Las Vegas tote bag; purchases of $150 or more qualify for the tote and a white Straw Hat Crew T-shirt, according to the Review-Journal.
The Las Vegas location
The 2,000-square-foot cafe opened in April 2024 as the first official One Piece restaurant in the United States. It was created through a partnership involving Los Angeles restaurateur Andy Nguyen and Toei Animation, according to the Review-Journal. More than 400 fans attended the opening, and the space featured imagery of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew, KTNV reported.
The Chinatown setting
The cafe is located in an area that is part of a broader commercial and cultural district. According to the Clark County Office of Community and Economic Development, the Chinatown Redevelopment Area encompasses the Spring Mountain corridor and surrounding commercial districts that form the cultural and economic heart of Las Vegas Chinatown. The county's Inspiring Spring Mountain Redevelopment Plan aims to improve mobility and pedestrian safety while strengthening small-business vitality, cultural identity and public spaces. Recent public investment and visitor data provide additional context for businesses in the area. KTNV reported that market data from August 2025 through July 2026 showed more than 80,000 people visited Chinatown on peak days, more than double the peak-day totals at Fremont East and the Arts District. Clark County also approved a $5.7 million contract to repave Spring Mountain Road from Rainbow to Decatur as the next phase of the redevelopment plan.

The Los Angeles cafe will remain open long term, the Review-Journal reported. The report also said an Instagram post described plans for the Las Vegas concept to continue as a pop-up, with a future location still to be announced.
