Palms Casino Resort is hosting a spooky supernatural hotel called The Haunted Inn, a free immersive Halloween pop-up open to guests 21 and over from September 30 through October 31. Visitors check in at an antique front desk before wandering through a haunted forest and cemetery, trading ghost stories with roaming characters along the way.
The concept, detailed by FOX5 Vegas, packs in roaming ghouls, live séances, live music and comedy alongside interactive storytelling with costumed characters. Food and drink lean hard into the theme, with themed cocktails, mocktails, specialty burgers and bat wings served in blood bags, skull vessels and mini-coffins. The pop-up sits on the casino floor near Scotch 80 Prime, Palms' signature steakhouse. The Haunted Inn runs Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to close and stays closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
An Off-Strip Perk That Lowers the Barrier to Entry
Part of the draw is logistical: Palms offers 100 percent free self-parking and free valet for all guests, a notable contrast to major Strip resorts where self-parking fees frequently top $20 a day in 2026, per Palms Casino Resort.
Palms itself carries a distinctive ownership story. The resort reopened on April 27, 2022, under the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority, becoming the first casino resort in Las Vegas history wholly owned and operated by a Native American tribe, according to the authority.
Filling a Gap Left by a Paused Local Haunt
The timing lands amid a shakeup in Southern Nevada's seasonal scare scene. Freakling Bros. Horror Shows, which has operated independent haunted houses in the Las Vegas area since 1976, announced in July that it is pausing operations for the 2026 season while co-owner JT Mollner directs a feature film, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The operation plans to return in 2027, leaving a temporary void that resort pop-ups like The Haunted Inn can help fill this fall.
Halloween Season Is Approaching
The pop-up's late-September launch puts it on the calendar ahead of Halloween.
Other Las Vegas resorts are leaning into similar seasonal bets. Fontainebleau Las Vegas booked Latin pop star Ricky Martin for back-to-back Halloween shows at BleauLive Theater on October 30 and 31.
Palms, located at 4321 W Flamingo Road near Arville Street in Las Vegas, has leaned into varied programming. The Haunted Inn adds a free, adults-only seasonal draw to that lineup, betting that blood-bag cocktails and a haunted front desk can pull locals and tourists off the Strip through the end of October.
