Vermont State Police are seeking help locating 15-year-old Faith Baker of Pawlet, who was reported as a runaway on September 16 and was last seen five days later in a neighboring New York town. Police say the circumstances are not considered suspicious, but they remain concerned for her welfare.
Baker's Last Known Sighting
Baker was last seen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on September 21 near the footbridge behind the Slate Valley Museum in Granville, New York, just across the state line from Pawlet, according to Newport Dispatch.
The outlet also reported that Vermont State Police troopers from the Rutland Barracks were notified at about 6:37 a.m. on September 16 of a runaway juvenile on Euclid Street in Pawlet.
What Baker Was Wearing
When she was last seen, Baker was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white shorts and white shoes. She was carrying a black-and-white tie-dyed mini backpack.
Police have said they do not suspect foul play, but are asking for help finding Baker because of concerns for her welfare.

A Dec. 15, 2022, WCAX report said about 340 children were reported missing each year in Vermont over the preceding five years, excluding 2020. That statewide figure is background only and does not establish anything about Baker’s case.
