Dry, Sunny Weekend Ahead
Friday will stay sunny with no rain expected, followed by highs near 101 on both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will remain mostly in the 70s, giving early risers the most comfortable part of the day.
The air will gradually dry out after a humid start, but the afternoon heat will still bring Minor HeatRisk across the lower deserts. The National Weather Service Phoenix office expects generally light winds and near-zero rain chances through the weekend.
Triple Digits Stick Around Next Week
Monday and Tuesday will be in the upper 90s to lower 100s, while Wednesday and Thursday will also be in the upper 90s to lower 100s. Evening precipitation chances of 10% to 20% return across south-central Arizona's lower deserts next week, but the odds remain low.
There are no watches, warnings or advisories listed for the area. It is a calmer setup than last week's blast that pushed Phoenix toward 108 degrees under an extreme heat warning, as previously reported by Hoodline, but outdoor plans will still be better earlier in the day, with water and shade close by.
