Pittsburgh is waking up under cloudy skies and a steady chance of showers Tuesday, with cool temperatures early and highs generally in the lower and mid-60s. The wet, cool pattern is not letting go yet, and another round of rain could bring additional rainfall and localized flooding concerns across the region.
Flood Threat Could Continue Through Wednesday
The National Weather Service’s Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday morning for parts of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia, while its discussion says flood threats will be maintained through at least Wednesday. Additional rounds of rain could produce localized higher totals, especially in areas that have already seen heavy rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers continue Tuesday, with easterly winds adding an extra bite to an otherwise raw afternoon.
More Showers Wednesday Before A Brighter Turn
Tuesday night stays cloudy with a low near 54 degrees, patchy fog and another chance of showers. Wednesday brings a high near 64 with rain chances continuing before 3 p.m.
Thursday could bring continued shower chances before conditions improve. A drier pattern is possible Friday and next weekend, before mostly sunny conditions and a high near 74 arrive Monday.

Drivers should avoid flooded roads and be especially cautious near creeks, streams and other low-lying areas as rain continues. The latest forecast is a substantive update from Hoodline’s earlier Pittsburgh forecast, with the flood threat potentially continuing into Wednesday.
