Thursday should stay dry from morning through evening, with northwest-to-westerly winds around 4 to 6 knots at Portland International Airport, increasing to 5 to 10 knots in the broader area during the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to peak in the low-to-mid 80s during the afternoon.
The National Weather Service says the broader Portland-to-Corvallis corridor has a chance of reaching 85 degrees, while the odds of 90-degree heat remain low outside the Tualatin Valley. No watches, warnings or advisories are posted for the area.
