Police said Littlefield arrived at Arches Oak Hills Childcare on Bridgetown Road shortly after noon Thursday and left with the boy after getting past daycare employees, according to WKRC. Witnesses told officers that the vehicle crossed grass as people tried to stop it, the station reported.
Child later reunited with father
Police said the boy was unharmed and was later reunited with his father, according to FOX19. The allegations underlying the Green Township investigation have not been adjudicated.
Green Township officers sent a description of the vehicle to law-enforcement agencies across Hamilton County. Cincinnati police located it near Mt. Adams about an hour after the alert, and police said Littlefield did not stop immediately before officers took her into custody, according to WKRC and FOX19.
Charges filed by two police agencies
Green Township officers charged Littlefield with felony burglary, felony abduction, interference with custody and violating a protection order. Cincinnati police separately charged her with child endangering, felony failure to comply and resisting arrest, WKRC reported. She was being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center, according to the station.
