Philadelphia is waking up to early showers Wednesday, with a high near 65 later in the day. Light rain over Delmarva and far southern New Jersey should dissipate by 9–10 a.m. Northeast flow will bring breezy or gusty conditions.
Rain Fades, Wind Hangs On
The rest of Wednesday is expected to remain mostly cloudy and mostly dry. Temperatures will climb through the 60s, while northeast flow continues Wednesday night.
Thursday brings a similar setup, with mostly dry conditions and a high near 66. Northeast flow will persist. It will feel more like an early-fall day than a late-September warmup.
Coastal Flood Advisory Begins Wednesday Night
Coastal Flood Advisories for the tidal Delaware River remain in effect through Thursday night's high tide. The National Weather Service forecasts multiple rounds of tidal flooding, including minor flooding along the tidal Delaware River.
