Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center is marking its 40th Annual Spinal Injury Games next Saturday, September 26.
The milestone celebration was announced by Supervisor Janice Hahn on Facebook, who shared information about the event.

This year's edition builds on a legacy of large turnouts. The 2023 Spinal Injury Games, held after a three-year pandemic hiatus, drew more than 275 participants, 300 volunteers, and 35 sponsors, vendors, community groups, and nonprofit organizations, according to the LA County Department of Health Services. The event featured activities that included quad rugby, wheelchair hockey, adaptive rock climbing, and obstacle courses.
