Randy's Donuts has opened a new counter inside SAHARA Las Vegas, at the resort's Prendi venue alongside Starbucks and The Tangier. The Southern California pastry chain now sells a rotating lineup of signature donuts daily from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and again from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m., serving overnight cravings well past when most bakeries have shut their ovens.
The SAHARA counter is Randy's third Las Vegas location inside a casino, following existing shops at Red Rock and Resorts World, according to FOX5 Vegas. The chain has added five Las Vegas-area locations since 2022, a pace that reflects its aggressive push into the valley's round-the-clock visitor economy. At SAHARA, the donuts are served inside Prendi, an Italian-inspired grab-and-go concept whose name translates to “to grab.”
A Food Hall Built for Grabbing and Going
Prendi already serves house-made pizza, sandwiches, salads, sushi, gelato, and coffee and other beverages, giving Randy's a built-in crowd of resort guests looking for a quick bite near the main lobby. The venue's grab-and-go format, described by SAHARA Las Vegas, caters to travelers who want food fast rather than a sit-down meal. Pairing a cult donut brand with that kind of foot traffic fits the same logic that has driven Randy's casino expansion across the valley.
Randy's traces its roots to a single 1952 Inglewood shop, famous for the giant 32-foot donut perched on its roof, and the brand now leans on more than 70 years of recipe development as it scales into new markets.
From a Reality Show Cameo to a Multi-Casino Footprint
The Las Vegas push has an unlikely origin story. Kelegian was reportedly encouraged to expand into the market by UFC CEO Dana White. That celebrity nudge came years before Randy's opened its first Las Vegas storefront on Rainbow Boulevard in August 2022.
The chain's growth has continued. It opened its fourth Las Vegas location in Spring Valley in December 2024. Randy's was expected to join the food court at Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in early 2026, according to Hoodline's report on Red Rock's food court refresh.
Betting Big on Brand Recognition
Randy's isn't just adding storefronts — it's also cashing in on its pop-culture status. In January 2026, the company signed a multi-year global licensing agreement with IMG Licensing to expand into apparel, packaged foods, and immersive experiences ahead of its 75th anniversary in 2027, PR Newswire reported. It's the brand's first exclusive global licensing partnership, signaling ambitions well beyond the donut case.
The SAHARA opening also lands amid a broader property-wide refresh at the resort. SAHARA added a Vegas Loop Tesla tunnel station near its Paradise Road entrance in August, giving guests another way to reach the Las Vegas Convention Center and other Strip resorts, as Hoodline reported in its coverage of the Vegas Loop's newest tunnel stop. SAHARA has also leaned into higher-end dining, opening Maroon, an Afro-Caribbean steakhouse from James Beard Award-winning chef Kwame Onwuachi, in April 2026 — a launch that later earned Onwuachi a key to the Las Vegas Strip from Clark County officials, according to Hoodline's report on the chef's honor.
