Rain chances stay near zero Monday, with partly cloudy skies and a low around 71 Monday night. The National Weather Service expects Tuesday to remain warm and partly sunny, reaching about 89 degrees before moisture begins building across Central Florida.
Storm Chances Return Wednesday Afternoon
Wednesday marks the shift, with showers and thunderstorms likely after 2 p.m. and a 60% chance of precipitation. Thursday through Sunday also bring daily storm chances, generally rising to 60% or 70%, with the most unsettled stretch expected from late week into the weekend.
Thursday and Friday could bring gusts up to 25 mph along with afternoon and evening storms. Overnight lows will stay in the low to mid-70s, so the pattern looks less like a cool-down and more like a return to familiar humid Florida weather.
Atlantic Beaches Face Dangerous Rip Currents
The National Weather Service is also keeping a high risk of dangerous rip currents in place along east-central Florida beaches Monday. Entering the surf is strongly discouraged, even though inland Orlando will be sunny and quiet; the latest outlook is a meaningful update to the earlier Hoodline forecast as storm chances return midweek.
