A new Pink Floyd stage production created and directed by Roger Waters is booked for the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas on Sept. 16, 2027 — but Waters himself won't be performing. Instead, the 10-piece band is led by his son, Harry Waters, a pianist and composer fronting the show in his father's stead.
The production, titled Roger Waters Presents LEGACY — A Pink Floyd Show, was first detailed by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which reports the set draws from Pink Floyd's commercial peak between 1971 and 1979 — pulling selections from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. The show is built around a high-definition LED-screen retrospective, with the paper noting that the production's original imagery and visuals were shaped by Waters and his creative team.
Tickets for the Las Vegas date go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through AXS.com, according to the same report. The Pearl at the Palms stop is part of a much larger rollout: the outlet reports the tour launches internationally in February and is slated to hit more than 100 cities across North America and Europe.
A Tour Announced Before Its Singer Was Even Found
Plans for the tour, formally billed as Roger Waters Presents LEGACY – A Pink Floyd Show Performed by the Harry Waters Band, first surfaced months earlier. Per Consequence, Roger Waters described the project as a way to “go on the road next year to pay tribute to the music from the golden era of Pink Floyd, and maybe a couple of songs from my subsequent solo career.” As of that April 2026 report, no tour dates had been announced, and the outlet noted the production was still soliciting singer audition tapes through the end of that month.
That means the Las Vegas date announced through the Review-Journal fills in one of the details that was still unresolved back in the spring — though who ultimately landed the lead vocal slot has not been reported. Roger Waters previously took the stage himself in Chicago, performing at the United Center in July 2022, but this new production marks a deliberate handoff to the next generation rather than another solo run.
Vegas Is Suddenly a Pink Floyd Town
The Palms booking arrives as the Review-Journal notes that Pink Floyd's catalog has been considered a prime production for Sphere, underscoring how the band's immersive visual style keeps drawing Las Vegas venues. The city isn't waiting on Roger Waters alone to scratch that itch, either. Tribute act Brit Floyd is set to play Orleans Arena on Oct. 10, giving Vegas a Floyd-flavored show even before the Palms date arrives the following year.
Brit Floyd, which says it has performed more than 1,600 shows worldwide according to antiMusic, has also announced its own 2027 Animals 50 tour marking the 50th anniversary of the Animals album. That report describes a first North American leg of more than 39 shows, with a nearly three-hour set spanning Animals highlights and the band's broader catalog. Additional North American and European dates are expected to follow, according to the same coverage.
Beyond the Palms show, a Ticketmaster listing points to a separate Roger Waters Presents LEGACY date at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania, Ohio, on Sept. 24, 2027 — a sign the sprawling itinerary is starting to take shape city by city, even as most tour stops remain unconfirmed. Fans discussing the wider wave of classic-album live shows have also flagged related projects on Reddit's r/pinkfloyd community, where a post about guitarist Lee Harris's own live performance series drew notice among Floyd devotees.
For now, the confirmed details are narrow but concrete: a single Las Vegas date, a Friday ticket on-sale, and a band fronted by Harry Waters rather than his father. Whether the rest of the more-than-100-city itinerary firms up on the timeline the production has promised remains to be seen.
