A 70-year-old Rome woman was killed just before 7 a.m. Tuesday after being hit by a white car in the 1900 block of Shorter Avenue, and more than a day later, police still haven't said who was behind the wheel or whether charges will follow.
Rome Police identified the victim as Sandra Lee Fincher, according to 11Alive. As reported by WSB-TV, Fincher died after being struck by a white car. The crash occurred in the 1900 block of Shorter Avenue just before 7 a.m. Tuesday, per WRGA News.
Conflicting Details on Where Fincher Died
Accounts differ on the exact circumstances of her death.
