In a separate case near 21 Howard Street, police identified and arrested 22-year-old Joelkiss Gutierrez-Hidalgo of Dorchester without incident, according to NBC Boston. The female victim in that stabbing was taken to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and was expected to survive, the station reported.
None of those earlier cases are connected to Thursday's stabbing on Columbus Avenue, and the details of what happened this time, including the victim's condition beyond the life-threatening injuries reported by police, remain unknown.
