Moderate HeatRisk is expected across inland areas from Wednesday through Sunday, while coastal neighborhoods remain more influenced by the marine layer.

The day should stay sunny, with temperatures reaching a high of 86.
The latest outlook is a sharper update to an earlier Hoodline forecast that first flagged the warmup. The heat now looks more persistent, with highs near 87 degrees Wednesday and 88 Thursday, then cooler Friday.
Weekend Heat Holds On
Saturday is currently forecast to be sunny, with a high near 76. Cooler conditions should continue through Sunday, while overnight lows settle in the mid-50s.
People heading into the higher terrain should be more cautious, where regional winds could reach 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph through Wednesday. The weather service also has a coastal flood advisory in place through Thursday afternoon for some bayshore locations around San Francisco Bay, San Pablo Bay and Monterey Bay, a concern mainly for low-lying shoreline areas rather than inland San Jose.
