Thursday remains warm at about 88 degrees, with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms under partly sunny skies. Another round of showers or storms is possible Thursday night before Friday brings a cooler high near 81, partly sunny conditions and a 40% chance of precipitation.
Friday night brings partly cloudy skies and a low around 63. That is a notable shift from the hotter, stormier setup described in Hoodline’s earlier Columbus forecast.
Weekend Plans Need A Backup
Weekend storm chances continue Saturday, with showers and thunderstorms remaining possible Saturday night and Sunday.
For Wednesday, the safest bet is to handle strenuous outdoor work earlier in the day, keep water nearby and have a quick indoor escape planned for the afternoon. No watches, warnings or advisories are currently posted for Columbus.
