St. Cloud police said 82-year-old John Norby, who has advanced dementia, was found downtown around 12:20 Monday morning after he rode off on a bicycle from his home Saturday afternoon. Police took the missing-person report. He left without a phone and was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
According to KNSI, Norby was described as a white man standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a gray sweatshirt, jeans and brown shoes. Police said his advanced dementia put him at risk.
St. Cloud Police said Norby frequently visits the Menards, Quarry Park and Crossroads Mall areas. The report identified those three locations as places Norby frequents.
