Fog May Linger Before Skies Clear
Patchy fog or low cloud cover could briefly hang around this morning, but the National Weather Service says skies should clear by late morning. At Seattle-Tacoma, winds are forecast to shift from southerly to northerly and increase to 8–12 knots in the afternoon, with no rain expected Saturday. The weather service also noted that temperatures at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport dipped into the 40s for the first time since June 8.
Saturday night will bring overnight lows in the 40s and lower 50s across the region. Sunday brings another mostly sunny day and a high near 64. No land-based watches, warnings, or advisories are in effect for Seattle.
Rain Moves Back In Tuesday
Monday brings increasing middle and high clouds, with highs in the lower to mid-60s. Rain is forecast Monday night. A front is expected to move through Western Washington Tuesday into Tuesday night.
Showers could linger into Tuesday night, while Wednesday and Thursday bring lower rain chances with some partly sunny breaks. By Friday, the forecast returns to mostly sunny weather with a high near 61, giving Seattle one rainy interruption before another cooler, calmer stretch.
