A Growing Hospitality Footprint
Thousand Pie was established in 2022 in Seoul's Gunja neighborhood and has since expanded to storefronts in the trendy Sinsa-dong shopping district and Seongsu-dong, according to the bakery's own site, thousandpie.com.
Domo Hospitality, the host restaurant group's parent company, was founded by Jae Kim and Brian Park. DOMODOMO began in New York in 2015.
DOMODOMO Hawaii opened in November 2025. The restaurant occupies a 3,000-square-foot dining space with floor-to-ceiling natural light and panoramic views of both the ocean and the surrounding golf course.
The pop-up also fits into a period of active expansion for DOMODOMO's parent company, Domo Hospitality Group. Hoodline previously reported that the group signed a 10-year lease in February for a new hand-roll spot in Brooklyn.
