Two unidentified bodies turned up along Yuba County roadways on back-to-back days this week, one in Dobbins and the other in Plumas Lake. Neither victim has been identified, and investigators say the cases do not appear to be connected.
According to CBS Sacramento, deputies first responded around 3:30 p.m. Monday to the area of Frenchtown Road in Dobbins after receiving a report of a deceased person located off the roadway. The following day, around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Plumas Arboga Road in Plumas Lake after a report of another deceased person found on the shoulder of the roadway, the outlet reported. Both deaths are being investigated as suspicious.
Per CBS Sacramento's account, the two bodies appeared to be in different stages of decomposition, according to the sheriff's office, and neither person has been identified so far. Authorities have not released additional details about how either person died.
