Restaurants from around Union Square, including Gramercy Tavern, Rezdôra and Mission Ceviche, are joining forces on November 10 for Harvest 2026, a one-night benefit designed to keep Union Square Park running. The event marks the 28th year of the fundraiser, which channels ticket sales directly into park maintenance, public safety staffing and free public programming in the square.
Harvest 2026 is hosted by the Union Square Partnership, according to Time Out, and will take place at Civic Hall, an 85,000-square-foot digital tech training and event facility that occupies seven floors of the 21-story Zero Irving building at 124 East 14th Street. Per the NYC Economic Development Corporation, the venue opened in November 2023, giving the district a modern backdrop for a tradition that predates it by decades. VIP ticket holders can enter at 6 p.m., with general admission starting at 7 p.m., and organizers are advising attendees to come hungry and leave with a running list of new places to visit.
A Lineup Stretching From Michelin Stars to New Arrivals
The night's culinary roster spans some of the neighborhood's most decorated kitchens alongside its newest openings. Rezdôra holds a Michelin star, while longtime participants Gramercy Tavern and Union Square Cafe were created by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group, which has earned 28 James Beard Awards, according to Gramercy Patch. Also on the bill are Kanyakumari, Leon's, Mission Ceviche, Len Len, Breads Bakery and Pete's Tavern, per Time Out.
Gramercy Patch reports that additional newcomers joining the Harvest 2026 lineup include Osteria Figa, Vinile Chophouse, Narkara, Roll Over Kimbap and Bernie & Herb's, alongside established neighborhood destinations like Oceans, Knickerbocker Bar & Grill and Tarallucci e Vino. Bernie & Herb's, one of the newer names on the list, was the subject of a revived neon sign story from Hoodline earlier this year, while Gramercy Tavern's own fall programming, including pop-up bars, was covered separately by Hoodline in August. Also listed among the event's participants are Beltane, Joe Coffee and Lillie's Victorian Establishment, according to Time Out.
What Union Square Partnership Says the Money Funds
Union Square Partnership executive director Julie Stein described the gathering as a distillation of the district's identity. “Harvest is truly the best of Union Square in a single night,” Stein said, adding that the event offers a chance to connect directly with neighborhood chefs, per Time Out. The organization is a community-based 501(c)3, and ticket proceeds go toward maintaining Union Square's plazas and lawns, funding its Clean Team, supporting public safety officers and underwriting free public programming in the park.

Why the Fundraiser Carries Extra Weight This Year
Harvest's civic role has taken on added significance amid a broader neighborhood transformation. Union Square Partnership, established in 1984 as New York City's first Business Improvement District following the 1976 formation of its local development corporation, has been a $750,000 capital contributor to a $3 million public-private vision plan study that Mayor Eric Adams announced in July 2025 to redesign 14th Street and modernize Union Square Park.
The fundraiser also lands amid a commercial rebound in the surrounding corridor. Ground-floor storefront occupancy in Union Square climbed to 91 percent in late 2025 and early 2026, its highest post-pandemic level, driven largely by new food-and-beverage openings, as Hoodline previously reported. Harvest's format takes its cue from the Union Square Greenmarket itself, which features regional farmers, fishers and bakers, per GrowNYC. The neighborhood's chefs are once again gathering under one roof, this time inside Civic Hall, to keep the park at the center of it all running.
