The closure was reported by Daily Voice, which detailed the restaurant's final days and the reasons behind the shutdown. Blossom Asian Bistro has operated at 1490 Route 23 North since 2012, serving Asian cuisine that includes dumplings, stir-fries, and sushi. The Wayne location operates under the corporate name Wayne Asian Cuisine Inc., per the restaurant's own site, Blossom Asian Bistro.
Blossom's departure from the Packanack center follows the restaurant's inability to reach an agreement with its landlord.
A Farewell Message and a Promise to Return
In a statement, the restaurant thanked its longtime customers: “We are truly grateful for your support and friendship over the years. It has been our pleasure to serve you, and we sincerely thank you for being part of our journey.” Gift cards will still be honored through the final day this Saturday, the Daily Voice report notes.
The restaurant says it plans to post updates about a new location on Instagram and hopes to serve customers again soon.
