Police said a woman was killed and a man was hospitalized after a crash Tuesday on Pond Street near Cemetery Street in Natick. The woman was a passenger in a vehicle traveling westbound on Pond Street when it collided with another vehicle.
The MetroWest Daily News reported that the crash involved two vehicles. The woman was taken to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, where she was pronounced dead, according to the newspaper.
The man driving the vehicle carrying the woman was also injured and taken to a Boston hospital, the newspaper reported. His injuries were not disclosed. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured, according to the account.
State Police Reconstruction Unit Called to the Scene
Because the crash resulted in a fatality, the Massachusetts State Police Crash Analysis and Reconstruction Unit responded, and the Middlesex District Attorney's Office was notified, according to the newspaper.
