A new drive-thru coffee stand is taking shape in Springfield, with 7 Brew setting up at 2122 S. Limestone Street and aiming to open its doors before the end of the year. The stand will add to the chain's Ohio footprint.
According to WHIO, the new location at 2122 S. Limestone Street is expected to open by the end of the year and is expected to add 75 jobs for the area. A separate report from WDTN described a future 7 Brew coffee stand being dropped on-site at 2001 E. Main St. on May 24, with that station citing an estimate of up to 50 jobs added to the area. The two outlets' reporting differs both on the exact address and on the number of jobs the stand is expected to bring, and the dossier does not resolve which figures are current.
Per the Springfield News-Sun, the stand was dropped at 2122 S. Limestone St., Springfield, with the delivery reported per a company spokesperson. WDTN described Springfield in 2024 as 7 Brew's first southwestern Ohio location and fifth in the state; a Fairborn stand had opened before Springfield's planned opening.
A Menu Built on Thousands of Combinations
7 Brew's draw is its sheer menu size. The company says it serves more than 20,000 possible drink combinations grouped into seven categories: coffees, energy drinks, fizz sodas, teas, lemonades, smoothies and shakes, according to 7brew.com. That breadth has become something of a signature for the chain as it has spread across the country from humble beginnings.
7 Brew was founded in 2017 in Northwest Arkansas and had grown to just seven stands by 2020, per the company's own account. Brew Culture LLC, described as an entrepreneurial group, bought 7 Brew in January 2020 and now owns and operates the brand. The company says it averages about 60 local team members per stand, a staffing model that helps explain the scale of hiring tied to each new opening.
Rapid Growth Across Ohio and Beyond
The chain's expansion has been swift by any measure. 7 Brew grew from 38 stands in January 2023 to more than 700 stands across 38 states today, according to the company. That national growth has included a recent wave of Ohio openings: as reported by bizjournals.com, 7 Brew has already opened a new coffee stand in Fairborn, and a second Dayton-area location is already in development.
Earlier this year, 7 Brew's growth plans extended well beyond the Dayton region. The company was opening 62 new coffee stands across 26 states in August, with Florida, Ohio and Texas each slated to receive five new stands in that round of expansion, according to a USA Today report. The same report noted the company planned to roll out a liquid collagen protein add-in nationally over the following months.

Springfield's coffee scene is getting busier on more than one front. Dutch Bros Coffee plans to open two locations in Springfield in 2026, with one planned for 2233 N. Limestone St. and another planned for 457 W. North St., according to the Springfield News-Sun. That would put a Dutch Bros stand at 2233 N. Limestone St. and 7 Brew at 2122 S. Limestone St., setting up a drive-thru coffee rivalry in Springfield.
