All Elite Wrestling rolls into St. Louis on Wednesday for its annual Fright Night spectacle, bringing a live episode of Dynamite and a same-night taping of Collision to Chaifetz Arena. The card features Darby Allin defending the TNT Championship against Josh Alexander, Persephone putting the TBS Championship on the line against Queen Aminata, and the Motor City Machine Guns squaring off with FTR in a pivotal best-of-five showdown.
According to Chaifetz Arena, the live Dynamite broadcast and Collision taping are set for Wednesday, October 28th. The venue is also encouraging fans to come in costume for the Halloween-themed show, though organizers are drawing a hard line on one particular category of outfit. The event will bring a full night of wrestling action to St. Louis.
Costumes Welcome, Masks Banned at the Door
Chaifetz Arena's event listing spells out the dress-code trade-off for Wednesday night: costumes are encouraged, but masks and full-face coverings are strictly prohibited, the venue states. Guests should also expect the arena's standard bag policy, which limits the size and type of bags allowed inside for safety and faster entry, according to the same Chaifetz Arena listing.
The show doubles as business for AEW beyond just Wednesday's live broadcast. Per F4WOnline, there will be a taping for that week's edition of Collision in addition to the live Dynamite. Prowrestling.net adds that AEW will also tape the October 31 Collision episode on Wednesday, meaning the St. Louis crowd will see two shows' worth of action packed into one night.
Title Matches and a Best-of-Five Rivalry Headline the Card
The in-ring stakes are high. Darby Allin is advertised to defend his TNT Championship against Josh Alexander, while Persephone will put the TBS Championship up for grabs against Queen Aminata, per prowrestling.net's preview of the show. The preview also confirms that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, known as the Motor City Machine Guns, will face Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR in the third match of their best-of-five series.
Fans who can't make it to Chaifetz Arena will still have a way to watch. Dynamite is simulcast Wednesday on TBS and HBO Max at 7 p.m. Central and 8 p.m. Eastern, prowrestling.net reports.
Fright Night Has Become an AEW Tradition
This isn't the first time AEW has dressed up its weekly programming for Halloween. Fright Night first took place in 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was then held in Edinburg, Texas, last year, making the stop in St. Louis the third installment of what F4WOnline describes as an annual tradition for the promotion.
St. Louis is no stranger to AEW's bigger productions, either. Chaifetz Arena has previously hosted two AEW pay-per-views, Dynasty 2024 and WrestleDream 2025, according to F4WOnline's report on the venue selection. Ticket distribution for Wednesday's show has been building steadily; the outlet's ticket-sales update found that around 2,779 tickets had been distributed for the event as of five days before the show, an increase of 435 from the prior update.
For comparison, AEW drew 2,343 distributed tickets for a December 12, 2024, Collision taping at the same arena, per F4WOnline's reporting. F4WOnline reported 6,293 tickets distributed for last year's WrestleDream at Chaifetz Arena.
