Alex Fusaro’s work is on view at Heckscher Park in Huntington from Oct. 9 through Nov. 1. The installation is at 11 Prime Avenue, near the corner of NY-25A and Prime Avenue, according to the Long Island Public Arts Festival’s Huntington page. Admission is free and no ticket is required, according to Eventeny.
The Huntington installation
Fusaro, who also creates and exhibits as Alex Tric, was selected for the Huntington stop. That selection and the artist-specific details in this story come from a press release distributed through EIN Presswire and republished by The Des Moines Register. The release says visitors will find the work listed under Fusaro’s name.
The release describes Fusaro’s process as digitally rendering a photo, applying a photo-destruction step, then printing the image and painting over it. It characterizes the result as mixed-media work. This description has not been independently confirmed. The release also reports that Fusaro has exhibited in galleries and pop-up shows across Long Island and New York City.
Part of a countywide festival
The Heckscher Park stop is part of the festival’s 2026 multi-site series. TBR News Media reported that the series expanded to include exhibitions at Heckscher Park and Geiger Park in Deer Park. The press release says the Huntington exhibition features work by 21 regional artists in installations measuring 6 feet by 6 feet.
The festival’s Huntington page identifies the stop as a collaboration with the Huntington Chamber of Commerce and names the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts and Colored Colors as curators. The festival describes its aims as supporting local artists and making public art accessible to the community.
