Comedian Ali Siddiq is set to bring his Custom Fit stand-up tour to Cincinnati, with a show scheduled at the Taft Theatre on Saturday, January 30, 2027. The Cincinnati date is part of a broader expansion of the tour that adds 18 new markets starting in January 2027.
The Cincinnati stop was confirmed as part of an international tour extension reported by Deadline, which listed the Taft Theatre date among the newly added shows. Tickets for the expanded run were scheduled to go on sale to the public on Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m. local time, according to the same report. Locally, WKRC reported that tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster and the Taft Theatre box office.
Siddiq's momentum heading into the expanded run has been building all year. He recently completed his 64th show of the tour, selling 7,000 tickets at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Deadline reported. The Cincinnati date joins other newly added cities, including a stop in St. Louis at The Fabulous Fox on a Saturday, March 20, at 8 p.m., according to BroadwayWorld.
Awards and Accolades Piling Up
Siddiq's recent run of accolades helped set the stage for the tour expansion. He won an NAACP Image Award for his independently produced and released comedy special My Two Sons, the deadline.com report noted. He also earned three Webby honors for his special Rugged, including awards for comedy, individual performance and the People's Voice Award.
His digital footprint reflects that growing audience. Siddiq has built a following of 1.6 million YouTube subscribers and more than 400 million total views, per the same report. His four-part stand-up series The Domino Effect 1-4, which premiered from 2022 through 2024, has amassed more than 60 million views on its own, according to BroadwayWorld.
New Special Coming in December
Fans won't have to wait for the tour to catch new material. Siddiq's special My Father has drawn more than 5 million views since its Father's Day premiere, and his next special, The Dog, is scheduled to debut December 13.
The Cincinnati show adds to a growing list of tour stops as Custom Fit rolls into 18 new markets, giving Midwest audiences another chance to catch the comedian live as he continues building on a year defined by awards recognition and expanding viewership across his stand-up specials.
