A new 80,000-square-foot medical office building is coming to Batavia, the result of a partnership between UC Health and HealthSource of Ohio that aims to pack primary care, behavioral health, urgent care, vision and pharmacy services under one roof. Site development has already started, and groundbreaking is set for later this month, with the project likely wrapping up in 2028.

Two Health Systems, One Building

UC Health and HealthSource of Ohio are teaming up to build the new medical facility, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. HealthSource of Ohio will develop the Batavia site, while UC Health will supply specialty care and diagnostic services inside the building. The two systems plan to co-locate services at the facility.

That co-location is expected to enhance care coordination, reduce wait times and improve the overall patient experience, per the same report. Patients will be able to access primary care, behavioral health, urgent care, vision and pharmacy services once the building opens, and the pharmacy will include a drive-thru window for faster prescription pickups. The facility is intended to bring more primary and specialized health services, along with integrated support services, to Clermont County, Greater Cincinnati and southwest Ohio.

What UC Health's CEO Is Saying

Cory Shaw, president and CEO of UC Health, framed the project as more than just new square footage. He said the project represents the shared commitment of UC Health and HealthSource of Ohio to improve life for the communities they serve, according to the Enquirer's report. Shaw added that the two organizations are shaping the future of healthcare in Clermont County and beyond by removing barriers to access.

Groundwork Already Underway in Batavia

Site development has already started ahead of the formal groundbreaking later this month, the report notes. The building is expected to be finished in 2028, though an exact completion date has not been set.

The new facility builds on service changes already in motion at HealthSource's existing Batavia location. As of May 18, 2026, all West Clermont medical services shifted to HealthSource Batavia at 2055 Hospital Drive, Suite 130, according to HealthSource of Ohio.
