Tampa is starting Monday clear and near 69 degrees, but the calm morning will give way to a sunny, breezy afternoon. Temperatures should climb to about 84 degrees, with northeast winds of 12 to 17 mph and gusts reaching 28 mph.
Sunny Monday Comes With Stronger Winds
Rain is unlikely across the city, with the forecast keeping Monday’s chance at 10%. According to the National Weather Service, Tampa will remain mostly sunny before clouds increase slightly Monday night and temperatures fall to around 67 degrees.
Rough Gulf Waters Continue Through Wednesday
The more serious weather concern is offshore, where a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect through 8 p.m. Wednesday. Near-gale-force gusts are possible over the Gulf through Monday evening, and small-craft operators are advised to remain in port until conditions improve later in the week.
Warm, Mostly Sunny Pattern Holds Through Midweek
Tuesday and Wednesday should look much like Monday, with mostly sunny skies, highs near 84 degrees and northeast winds occasionally gusting close to 30 mph. Overnight lows will stay in the upper 60s to around 70, so early mornings will be noticeably cooler than the afternoons.
Isolated Showers Return Late In The Week
Thursday brings a 20% chance of isolated showers after 2 p.m., followed by another warm day near 85 degrees. Friday and Saturday should reach the mid-80s, with isolated afternoon showers and a few thunderstorms possible, while Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny or partly sunny, with low rain chances.
For most Tampa residents, the week ahead favors warm, dry outdoor plans on land, though gusty winds could complicate waterfront activities, beach setups and anything that can blow away. The forecast turns a little more typically Florida-like late in the week, but rain chances remain limited rather than widespread.
