Brevard Zoo's grounds will trade daytime animal encounters for an adults-only bash on Saturday, November 7, when JAZZOO takes over the Melbourne facility from 7 to 11 p.m. The zoo says tickets to its biggest party of the year are selling quickly, with seven stages of live music, cuisine from more than 30 area restaurants, breweries and food trucks, unlimited drinks, and dancing spread across the grounds.

The event runs rain or shine, according to a post from Brevard Zoo on Facebook. WFTV reports that tickets are on sale and provides lineup details. As reported by WFTV, admission runs $115 for zoo members, $125 for non-members, and $275 for a VIP package, with entry restricted to guests 21 and older. VIP ticket holders get early access starting at 6 p.m. along with entry to an exclusive top-shelf bar lounge, the station reports.

The entertainment lineup leans eclectic this year. The 2026 lineup includes Hot Pink, Felix & Fingers, Char Good Violin and John Holley Music.

The party has also leaned into sustainability in recent years. The zoo has partnered with O-Town Compost to push JAZZOO toward zero waste, building on a prior event where 67% of waste — more than 1,500 pounds — was diverted from landfills, according to Brevard Zoo. Food vendors use compostable service ware, and untouched food gets donated to local shelters as part of that effort.

Funding Daily Operations Without Tax Dollars

JAZZOO isn't just a party for the zoo — it's a financial lifeline. Brevard Zoo is operated by the East Coast Zoological Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that receives no recurring government operational funding, and JAZZOO proceeds help fund the Zoo's mission, including animal care. Holiday Builders is the event's main sponsor and has supported the Zoo for eight years.

The zoo's roots trace back to community volunteerism: Brevard Zoo opened in March 1994 on 75 acres and was built by more than 16,000 community volunteers.
