Bullhead City Police are asking the public to help identify a man accused of stealing jewelry from a local business and driving off in a blue Subaru SUV. Investigators say the theft, reported via a department Facebook post, involved more than $2,000 worth of jewelry taken from the store.
Surveillance video reviewed by investigators shows the man stealing the jewelry before getting into the Subaru and leaving the scene, according to 12News. Police believe the same man is also suspected of shoplifting from another store the day before the jewelry theft, though no additional details on that earlier incident have been released. Anyone with information was asked to contact Bullhead City Police at (928) 763-9200, per the station's report.
A Pattern of Brazen Store Thefts in Bullhead City
Separately, thebee.news reported that Bullhead City Police investigated a theft at Feil Jewelers, located in the 2100 block of South Highway 95, in which a male and female reportedly asked to look at expensive jewelry at about 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 before running out of the store with it. The pair fled southbound on Highway 95 in an unknown vehicle, according to that report. That outlet noted that anyone recognizing the Feil Jewelers suspects or with information was asked to contact Bullhead City Police at (928) 763-1999, a different number than the one listed in connection with the Subaru case.
Retail theft has also hit other Bullhead City businesses. A man and a woman allegedly stole nearly $3,000 worth of cologne and perfume during two separate shoplifting incidents at a local Ulta Beauty on Dec. 28, according to fox10phoenix.com. Investigators in that case released a surveillance photo of the pair and asked anyone who recognized them to contact detectives at 928-763-9200, referencing case number 25-39197, the outlet reported.
What Investigators Are Asking From the Public
For now, Bullhead City Police are relying on surveillance footage and public tips to track down the man seen driving away from the jewelry theft in the blue Subaru SUV. The two cases involve different reported incidents: a man seen driving away from the jewelry theft in the blue Subaru and a male and female who fled Feil Jewelers. Anyone with information on the Subaru suspect is urged to reach out to police using the contact information shared in their Facebook post.
