Carvana and Phoenix Rising FC are heading into their 10th season as partners, with the online car retailer renewing its role as the club's front-of-kit sponsor and expanding its backing of the team's youth soccer programs across Arizona. The companies announced the multi-year extension alongside plans to renovate the Carvana Corner VIP Suite at Phoenix Rising Stadium and launch a new fan-recognition initiative called Carvana Champions of the Match.
Carvana today announced a multi-year renewal of its partnership with Phoenix Rising FC, according to financialcontent.com, which reported the deal in a Business Wire release; the Eagle-Tribune also carried the announcement. Carvana remains the club's front-of-kit sponsor and is also designated the Official Auto Retail Partner of Phoenix Rising FC Youth, the same report notes. Ryan Keeton, Carvana's co-founder and chief brand officer, said in a statement that Phoenix Rising is one of the company's most meaningful hometown partnerships, adding that Carvana is proud to continue supporting the team as front-of-kit sponsor and knows firsthand what the club means to the Valley.
VIP Suite Renovation and a New Fan Recognition Program
As part of the renewed agreement, the Carvana Corner VIP Suite at Phoenix Rising Stadium will be renovated and expanded to host Carvana Champions of the Match, according to lifestyle.middletownlifemagazine.com. The initiative is designed to recognize members of the Phoenix youth soccer community during matches. Bobby Dulle, Phoenix Rising FC's president, said Carvana's commitment to the club has gone beyond a typical corporate partnership, adding that Carvana invests in both the professional team and the youth organization because it believes in the future of Arizona soccer.
Since the partnership began in 2018, Carvana has served as Phoenix Rising's front-of-kit sponsor, per the club's own site. That sponsorship expanded further in 2024 to include Rising FC's Youth programs, extending the retailer's commitment to supporting young players at both recreational and competitive levels. Those youth programs provide development opportunities, competitions and a college advisory program for young athletes in the Phoenix and Prescott areas, and the two organizations had previously signaled plans to expand community initiatives over a multi-year horizon.
A Youth Pipeline With Real Scale — and Real Strain
Phoenix Rising FC Youth Soccer is the largest soccer club in Arizona, spread across six geographic regions, with more than 3,000 boys and girls participating in each of its recreational and competitive programs, according to a Cronkite News report. The merger that formed the youth organization created a direct pathway from youth soccer into the professional ranks, and Phoenix Rising Youth Soccer placed 138 women into college programs over the five years preceding that report.
Even with that scale, the same Cronkite News account found that participation numbers had remained steady while the organization ran into facility and refereeing shortages — a tension between demand and infrastructure that underscores why continued sponsorship investment matters for a club trying to keep its pipeline functioning.
Championship Pedigree on the Professional Side
Carvana has supported Phoenix Rising through what the club calls significant moments in its history, including the team's first USL Championship in 2023. Phoenix Rising FC, established in 2016 and described as the highest-level professional soccer franchise in Arizona history, also claimed the 2023 USL Championship and Western Conference titles in 2023, 2020 and 2018. The club additionally holds the record for the longest win streak in American professional soccer history, at 20 matches, per its own team website.
Details on the upcoming season schedule, ticket availability and confirmed Phoenix Rising home matches are expected to be released in the coming months. For now, the renewed partnership cements Carvana's place alongside a club that has leaned on the retailer's backing through its championship run and its push to grow the sport at every level across the Valley.
