Cleveland is getting a quick weather reset Friday, with mostly clear skies, temperatures in the 50s and a high near 58 degrees. The cooler air is a sharp change from the late-October warmth, but the weekend will rebound with a mild Halloween and an even warmer Sunday.
Sunny Friday, Chilly Friday Night
Friday will stay dry and sunny, with northwest winds running 7 to 12 mph through the afternoon. Skies turn partly cloudy Friday night as temperatures fall to around 43 degrees, making for a jacket-worthy evening across the city.
The National Weather Service has no land-based watches or warnings posted for the Cleveland area. Boaters on Lake Erie should note that a brief Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for nearshore waters until early Friday morning.
Halloween Looks Mild, If A Little Gray
Saturday should be comfortable for trick-or-treating, with partly sunny skies and a high near 62 degrees. Temperatures remain relatively mild Saturday night, with a low in the mid to upper 40s.
Sunday brings the warmest day of the weekend, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 68 degrees. Rain chances remain low, so outdoor plans have a good shot at staying dry even if the sun spends much of the day behind the clouds.
Rain Chances Return Next Week
Monday is expected to stay dry, with a slight chance of showers overnight after Monday into Tuesday morning. Wednesday brings a better chance of showers, around 40%, while rain showers become likely Thursday as highs cool to the mid-60s.
