Cleveland gets a mostly dry, mild Halloween, with clear skies early Saturday, temperatures in the mid-40s and an afternoon high near 61 degrees. The evening should stay comfortable by late-October standards, though a jacket will be useful once temperatures slip toward 50.
Mostly Dry Halloween, Cloudier After Dark
Saturday will be partly sunny with light southeast winds of 3 to 7 mph and almost no chance of rain during the day. The National Weather Service Cleveland office expects clouds to thicken Saturday night, but the forecast remains dry for most outdoor plans.
Sunday stays mild, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 68. No watches, warnings or advisories are in effect for the Cleveland area, giving trick-or-treaters, porch decorators and Halloween event-goers a relatively easy weather forecast.
Warmth Builds Through Tuesday
The region warms further early next week, with highs near 66 on Monday and 73 on Tuesday. Rain chances remain limited through Tuesday, although a few light showers could develop as southerly winds bring more moisture into Northeast Ohio.
The updated outlook is warmer and more detailed than Hoodline's earlier Cleveland forecast, which focused on the broader Halloween-week warmup. For now, Tuesday looks like the warmest day of the stretch, but the next weather change is already taking shape.
Midweek Rain Ends The Dry Spell
A slight chance of showers arrives Tuesday night before rain showers become likely Wednesday, when the high should reach around 70 and the chance of precipitation rises to about 60%. Thursday brings another chance of showers, with a high near 66, followed by a cooler Friday near 62.
The National Weather Service says the midweek system could bring widespread rain and break the prolonged dry pattern that has dominated October. Cleveland's best outdoor window is Saturday through Tuesday; after that, umbrellas may finally get their turn.
