After an overnight low of 62, El Paso is forecast to see sunny skies and a high of 86 degrees Wednesday. The city gets a warm, mostly dry run through the weekend before showers could develop.
A Warm, Mostly Dry Stretch
The National Weather Service gives Wednesday a 0% chance of rain, followed by a low near 64 Wednesday night. Thursday should reach 85 degrees under mostly sunny skies, while Friday stays sunny near 84 and Saturday is expected to bring highs in the lower to middle 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
This is a modest shift from Hoodline’s Tuesday forecast, with the latest outlook nudging Wednesday’s high upward. Hoodline had already forecast warm Friday and Saturday conditions, with highs in the lower to middle 80s, while lowland highs are expected to remain in the lower or middle 80s through the weekend. Overnight lows will remain comfortable by October standards, mostly in the mid-60s.
Showers Return Over The Weekend
The forecast points to isolated showers by Saturday afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday night, and more Sunday afternoon and evening.
Monday Night Is The One To Watch
The longer-range forecast points to a potential uptick in heavier rain and flooding concerns Monday night into Tuesday, particularly from Sierra and Doña Ana counties east, though confidence remains low this far out. No watches, warnings or advisories are currently posted for the El Paso forecast area, so for now the practical plan is simple: enjoy the sunshine, keep an eye on the sky Sunday night and let the patio furniture live its best life through the weekend.
